Why “the superhero” is all I am,
in the eyes of my fans?
Wish I was loved for great parts.
I have to live and that is that.

I’m a classically trained superhero.
I can’t stand the stupid script I read.
I wish I was given the roles that De Niro has played.
I would do justice to the part.
I know my Ibsen. I know my art.
I know I ‘ll give it real heart.

How will I escape from this set.
I just need a theatre stage.
I need Shakespeare and ancient Greeks
It’s so sad to be….

This costume kills me day by day.

My acting skills may decay.
But there are bills I have to pay.
And there are studios to obey.
I couldn’t find a safer way.
